I don't know about balance, but she's no fool, she understands the environment we find ourselves in.

Is Beau in the Hen House?

by beetree on 25 October 2013 - 16:10

Well, Beau does keep going back to the scene of the crime. I am pretty sure he ate a few feathers, too! Yuck! But so far, the little cluckers have stayed in their yard.

I don't think LF's summary was very accurate.

Chickens are similar to man only one thing is on their mind - food

Not the only thing on the mind of most men........

Most fireman yes...........because they sleep till their hungry and eat till their tired.  Then it starts all over again.

Oh yea, be careful with neighbors that suddenly get chickens.  They may be after your dogs............Omg Smile

Why do you have to hate on chicken fanciers, Slamdunc?? LoL.. I go and get random new chickens all the time, with no sinister motives ;)

by beetree on 25 October 2013 - 22:10

Erin, he's not talking about you and your chickens, but there was a person who bought chickens just so the neighbors unleashed dogs that bothered her would trespass, and she'd be able to shoot them legally.

I know the incident of which is being mentioned.
Wink Smile

I was just joking.. lol

That is a pretty conniving way to get the dogs on her land.. That will do it, dogs love to chase chickens.. Although I think the most desirable animal to a dog would be a rabbit.. Every dog I've known wants to get at a bunny.. I have dogs that don't look twice at a chicken, but go crazy over a rabbit..

by beetree on 25 October 2013 - 22:10

The real point Erin, is the despicable act of shooting someone else's dog through duplicity. Not at all nice if one claims to be dog lover.
