WOW, that's disturbing on so many levels, BE!

Yes, many insiders know that American intel has been sicced on Ron Paul and his delegates.  Ron and his wife were seriously hassled by TSA when they arrived at an airport for the convention in Tampa.   It is well known that the US Shadow Govt is very afraid of the ideas of Ron Paul and his campaign and have applied desperate measures to keep them controlled so ghat the general populace doesn't start learning too much about the American Republic, the US Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Founding Fathers and what they stood for. It is quite disgusting that American Intel has been assigned to derail Ron Paul's campaign and harass his delegates.  This is against everything America stands for and smacks of tyranny.  And of course these same folks want desperately to disarm the American people and re-interpret the Second Amendment of the Constitution.  Thus the recent effiorts of Obama and Billary to promote the UN Small Arms treaty which failed.  the shadow govt knows that it will be exceedingly difficult to institute their new Global NWO world Govt while Americans still have millions of guns and plenty of ammo. They went door to door and unConstuitutionally handcuffed and disarmed law abiding Americans during Katrina and this was completely illegal and unConstitutional. Will they be able to do this again this time in New Orleans?  We shall see.

BULLETIN - not everyone has been able to put aside a portion of their income for the future. Some just cannot afford it - the don't have Roths and IRA's and investments because they don't make a lot and it takes every cent they make just to pay their bills. What the hell is wrong with you people who think that just because you are fortunate that everyone else is too and if not they did it to themselves. And to make it even more nauseating most who piss on the poor come here and pat themselves on the back for being such wonderful Christians. The Bible teaches charity and sharing and discourages  personal indulgence and wealth. Shame on you selfish hypocrits for begruding a portion of your taxes to be used to help others.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Think about it.

blitzen the bible teaches against greed, but not wealt. there is a difference.
it teaches to take care of yourself first, so that you may take care of others.
it teaches that personal charity is a basic tennent......(not forced charity throught any government).

dave ramsey has a great misistry which teaches how to become responsible with money, how to make a monthly budget, and how to become debt free.......most dont make a huge income.......45 - 65K ... maybe its time too stop whining and check into it.

Oh yeah, well what about the quote I posted above? That's from the Bible you know.

by beetree on 02 September 2012 - 14:09

The one I always liked is: The Lord helps those who help themselves.  This one pops into my head often, I think it is useful. At least I think it is in the Bible....could be someone just told me it was in the Bible.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 ESV As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

That was Ben Franklin, BeeTree.

by beetree on 02 September 2012 - 15:09

LOL, really? I still like it, LOL  History isn't my strong suit, is it?

by desert dog on 02 September 2012 - 15:09

Sitasmom, you must be a lot older than I am to say what people did before SS. You talk like you trust big money people and big bussiness more than the gov. It's a crap shoot I know but elected representatives can be voted out, big money people can not. If you think insurance companys won't screw you to death, you have not been around long. I agree with Blitzen.
