You didn't address the fact plenty of kids get autism who never had vaccine. Do a little research it might help your argument, because to be blunt you really don't know what you are talking about. I will address this when I get in front of a desktop. It won't be hard to prove my point.

As you can see there is no mercury in the most popular childhood vaccines. I tend to believe John Hopkins university over some of the other links provided in this thread. So, continue to yammer all you want. Continue to try and say I am for giving kids mercury, it just makes you look bad. Again, I ask you why kids who never received a vaccine in their life have autism?  Mercury was removed from vaccines(child) in 2001 but kids are still being born with autism. How do you explain that one? One of the biggest mercury culprits is fillings so if your child gets cavities just let the teeth rot out or opt for a different filling material.(btw, I didn't research if mercury is still being used in fillings or not) Another huge mercury producer is coal fired plants. There are many different ways mercury gets into a person and I suggest doing some research to better understand what not to give kids and what is safe, since you are so worried. BTW, I am not saying nor have I ever said mercury is not a cause of autism. I know that some teething products at one time contained mercury. Vaccines are safe the mercury was removed years ago so trying to say you are against immunizations because of mercury is absurd.

You might want to take your complaints about mercury to some of the largest corporations in America, because whether you believe it or not, it is these companies who have polluted, introduced toxins and have poisoned us for years. And if you are trying to lay this on the government (right or left) that is hogwash. After all you are for less government regulation which means more corporate misdeeds and less oversight of businesses that have proven time and again they don't care about people, the almighty bottom line is what matters most.

That is ONE piece of 'misinformation' - ie it was a mistake by me from

memory.  Where is all the other 'lot' of misinformation RS;  if the only

thing you can cite is one small mistake by me, does not prove your

p.o.v.

BTW   I still would not want to be someone older or infirm getting

measles for the first time:  it may still be measles (ie not called some

other thing) but if you had done some research yourself you would

have found that it is potentially very nasty and even dangerous !

Most of the vaccines have eliminated mercury, because of the implications.

Some still contain them however.

Right but those vaccines are not used on children. Why are some kids still being diagnosed with autism, years after mercury was taken out of vaccines? No matter, the benifits to society in general far outweigh the risks, IMO. So, ML, you would be okay with your wife getting measels? How about yourself? What about my 80 year old neighbor who just had open heart surgery? What about my new born grandson? All because someone refused to vaccinate their child. Would you be okay with that or are you just looking to go against any and everything I say here?

Just 2 years ago my stepdaughter was at the doctors with her autistic adopted (black) son, and many on here have incorrectly labeled me as a racist. When we fully supported her adopting a black child. The doctor said he needed a shot. she asked if it contained mercury. The doctor said NO. She asked to see the medicine in it's original container before he gave him a shot. Sure enough it contained Mercury. No shot.

She has him on film as a baby totaly attentive to everything happening around him. Then after receiving vaccinations just a blank look. Total change in personality.

I have to leave. More later if necessary.

Everything has a risk.  I'm 100% for vaccinations.  Many lives have been saved as a result of vaccinations.  The benefits far outweigh the risks.
