Moons, my sister and I bought an old, broke down T.B stallion at an auction in CA this last summer, took him back to my sister's looked into his jockey club papers, and tattoo.. Come find out he was graded stakes winner from KY, sired ton $ winners, and dressage horses.. Just to be dumped at an auction, bought for $30.. We found a rescue that networked him into retirement to Old Friends, in KY.. He finially got there few weeks ago.. His story was written up in few racing mags.. He was super sweet, sad that he was dumped, almost bought by meat buyer.. That was my story about KY LOL

stayed there for some weeks in cali but have no idea where exactly, it was all mountains and timber, i thought it was supposed to be beaches. i met my first hounds/curs there.
yes i saw a lot of the states, all over actually. the trader bought horses off the track for like $300 or less and we worked them for a year or so and then shipped them back east and he sold them for ridiculous profits, hence why he was so hated - most of the horses he bought could not win a race and he paid the same as the butcher would pay for them except he picked them up direct from the track. his skill was to see what that horse could turn into eg show jumper, hunter....he was a genius, he never rode a horse tho.

my baby erin OMG. wouldn't that be funny....actually got a pic of her from the 80's? no i don't want to know.
nah i never had a gsd before this one, a stray hula claimed me tho while i was there.
apparently i used to walk thru gang neighborhoods without knowing it in the bad old days with my hula. the so called "wetbacks" cleaned all the stables they said the gangs and locals in those bad neighborhoods all knew me and my dog and had native mexican code names for me, i was kind of protected for some unknown reason when i should have been killed. mebbe they just thought i was crazy.
