LOL, very random   - thanks for explaining Laura, I thought it had something to do with something previous on here that I had missed.

I didn't have any idea what to say to the guy- apologize that my people (pasty white girls) don't shop at his store for goat meat?

(Senta grudgingly ate her goat meat for supper- after she flung it all over the yard.)

Groan. My husband still calls me Ruddy Buddy (mostly abbreviated to RB)!

LOL@Laura.  That made me laugh.  Yeah I probably would have taken a double take as well.  "White girl buying in a African store buying goat??  She must be into voodoo."

You should have said, "Yea I buy goat all the time.  Me and my black husband love goats".  :)
Will you feed it to your dog again?

I had a salad for lunch.

What did you have?

by beetree on 15 August 2011 - 22:08

Hey, I never told you, the Oyster shooter I had sounded alot like your prawn cocktail. Like a spicy bloody mary with an oyster sitting on the bottom, just waiting for the inevitable, slurp! LOL

I'm making Terikyaki Tuna steaks and rice for dinner. And a simple tomatoe, cucumber, mozzarella salad, with fresh basil, little bit of olive oil salt and pepper. It's too wet to pick corn, though I did make some corn chowder the other day, the big kid just loved it. We grow some of the best sweet corn in the world, I swear it.

This is also weird, now I'm seeing ads for Creative Writing Masters Degrees! How the heck does the computer-spy do that? LOL

Who else is seeing some strange ads? I wonder.....

Hey that sounds good!  looks liek your house is the place to go and get a hot meal.  I just realized that I have never had tuna steaks.

I have had the biggest craving for oysters.  I have been watching episode after episode of No Reservations w/Anthony Bourdain.  The places and the food have me on a huge travel bug right now.  I need to get out of this country.

Im getting p0rn/dating ads.....j/k

Never had tuna steaks? Oh deary me, how about sashimi ... I think it is called, with the wasabi and ginger?  That is an eye opener, too! Love it!

If you get the choice between Chesapeake bay oysters and Blue point oysters... go for the Blue point!  Yummmmmy. What I missed this season was the soft shelled crabs, when I went to order them, they were sold out. Bummer for now.

And you know what is really funny, I am watching that Anthony Bourdain guy right now, he just finished the episode in, get this.... Paris, France.

I just have to laugh. OUT LOUD.
