If you have a food intolerance such as gluten, it can affect your thyroid, soooo, cutting out gluten will make the pounds fall off. True story.

There is no fast cure, no magic pill or plant.
It takes time and persistance.
I gained in a matter of weeks on one particular daily lunch menu and it took over a year to take it off.

........The weather is warming up and spring is in the air!!,,,
Now is the time to consider whether or not ya still fit in last years shorts!!..lol...I do!!,,I have been running about a mile and half to two miles a day about 5 days a week!..It takes me about 20 - 30 minutes,,I will lift 5 pound free weights every other day and do about 15 to 20 reps of each type ...~~Running is cardio to burn fat and free weights help tone.Do these together to get best results..~~I run for 20 minutes/ lift for 20 minutes.~~I Also throw in some abs too..I plank for about 50 seconds two times,,,~~Ouch~~
My motivation??..We bought a pool!.,No way am I going to be caught dead pool side ; 20 lbs too heavy in a bathing suit!!...Vanity,,Vanity~~~
This was a very expensive way to get motivated, but it's working!!..
tip,,invest in an IPod or at least a radio and play your favorite music while exercising,,I listen to the 80's..It helps me visualize myself at the beach younger and thinner!!,,,lol,,,Country music makes me think of riding my horse (lean and slender) at a very nice western trot wearing a beautiful rail outfit!!,,lol,,Then of course I listen to Maroon 5 and I visualize myself,,well,,never mind..
Music helps me stay focused and push through when I want to stop,,

Congrats ruger,
I'm bad to snack between meals since I retired and gained about 20 lbs. The wife got a juicer. She found alot of menus for fruit - vegetable mixes to drink a glass full between meals. It fills you up and some isn't to bad. I like the tomato, carrot, celery with hot sauce I add in cause it helps the taste. It does curb the snacking.

I noticed Chia seed oil on the list but not Chia seeds. I have been trying to lose weight since I hurt my back ages ago, but snacking always ruined my best intentions.
a friend at work introduced me to chia seeds & I've been making chia & fruit smoothies every morning -just 1 cup water, a 1/4 cup Chia seeds mixed together, and fresh fruit, I like Papaya, banana, pineapple, & a dollop of plain no fat Greek yogurt. No sweetener, no milk: whir it around & until its drinkable or spoonable, & enjoy! They're very tasty, & they fill you up & keep you feeling full all day.....I have been able to resist snacking since I started this, & the results are starting to show!
give it a try, the seeds are high in protein, fiber, & Omega 3!
