...began playing Disney tunes.  Angus could not help himself and started to sing along with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

Agnes, meanwhile, was dreaming of her own "Prince Charming" who would sweep her off her little alien feet and marry her.  

Sweet Pea was washing her hair in the outside shower and heard a blood curdling scream coming from the woods.  It sounded like Sue!  

And it was, followed by a string of profanites as Sue grabbed his big toe and began hopping about on one foot. Simon laughed and pointed, in between gasps of air he managed to say, "I told you to watch out for that big ol' root the size of a an anaconda!"
 
Simon headed into the bunk house, dripping water, still. He saw Angus holding the fancy Ipad and said, "Cool, can I see?" Being a bit impulsive he reached out and touched it. Angus immediately stopped singing, his face forming a contorted question mark as to what had just overtaken him, forcing him to sing silly songs for no reason! When Simon touched a side of the thin tablet, he heard a whirr and click.

At that same moment, Sweet Pea swung open the shower door wearing only a brightly colored towel wrapped about her slender middle, just a bit of cleavage spilled over and strained against the tight twistiness that kept her towel from falling off, and found herself starring straight into the pain contorted face of Sue.

This was just too much for Sue, he ...

Agnes blinked her large round eyes in shock. They were adjusting to the glare of the flash. Her tablet camera had just taken her picture, all on its own!

Simon was blinking his eyes, too, the look of surprise on his face was straight out of a Norman Rockwell illustration. When his eyes began to refocus he still wasn't sure of what he was looking at ..... 

Sue stood up, his mutilated ear burning crimson, and shouted at Sweet Pea, "PUT SOME CLOTHES ON WOMAN!"  He stomped into the bunk house, went to his claimed spot, grabbed the daisy splattered print curtain hanging by his bed, gave it a yank closed. In seconds he had his shorts on, a Black T-shirt and had grabbed his boots as he made his way out again. He looked at Simon and said, "You hungry? Then come on. I'm starved."

Angus had gently reclaimed the tablet as Simon answered back, "Coming! Wait for me!" And then he was gone, just like that.

The happy floral pattern waved briefly, underscoring the contrast to Sue's inexplicable, foul mood.

Sweet Pea was starting to move again, having found her self speechless at Sue's outburst. She returned to the shower to collect her assorted sundries and only entered the bunk room after she saw Sue and Simon heading up the hill towards dinner, and those smell's just to let you know, were smelling pretty good. She felt hungry. Angus was closing the buckle strap on the backpacks she had used to keep the strange objects. He rubbed his face with his hand, and then scratched his head as she made it past him and closed the Harry Potter curtain and a yellow and blue checked curtain to give her privacy as she changed into olive drab cargo pants and a red/white/blue tie dyed tank top. Angus pretended he wasn't looking at the shadow her body made behind the flimsy cotton.

He made himself blink and said, "Don't take all day Sweet Pea, can't say if there will be much left if you don't move your ass!" And off he went out the door and up the hill, drawn by the amazing smells coming from Gigi's open fire. God, things just taste better on an open flame, don't they?

For the second time that day, Sweet Pea was speechless! Men ! She thought— they must be from Mars!

Now, at this point I really need to tell you some things about the aliens living underneath the mountains on this, our planet Earth. I will, I promise, but it will have to be a little bit later, got some chores to do, right now. Maybe some of you know some stuff I don't know. I'll just let you know this little bit for now:

The aliens traveled to Earth and landed here, before the time of the Bible, that is for sure. Okay, I'll be back, later, lol

All of them sat down to eat a meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, fried okra, green beans (cooked in fat back), and peach cobbler.  Gigi beamed with pride as they devoured her food.  Sue could not keep his eyes off Sweet Pea.  He loved the way her patriotic tank top showed her curves.  Angus could not get his mind off of the strange ipad that played Disney songs and wondered what it was and why it captivated him.  Simon was hoping they would all play a game of monopoly after they ate.

And boy did Simon give a big burp of approval.

The monopoly game was pretty fun too. Sweet Pea ended up with Park Place and Baltic Ave. Hotels. You get the picture. Rolling in the dough. Luck is a lady tonight.
