She wasn't trying to force anyone. It was her Dr who prescribed the drug. You want to talk SPECIAL INTEREST groups well that is a whole can of worms that I am sure the conservatives really don't want to open because of their own closeted closeness to special interest groups.
How about campaign finance reform, anyone up to talking about it??

So she can take her business elsewhere, and screw Walmart.

Travels ~ I am ashamed of nothing ; at least not where this thread is concerned ;)
ML ~ I agree with you I was actually thinking about the deli scenario ~ I can think of many more.
If the pharmacist had religious beliefs that kept her from aiding in an abortion I can respect that position as I would NOT assist a physician in that procedure if I were asked. However, the woman said it was due to a miscarriage ~ I personally don't feel the need to micromanage others lives ~ Why the pharmacist felt the need is beyond me and something I don't agree with personally, but the bottom line is we all have standards of conscience and I do NOT practice going against mine and would not change my mind to be politically correct for any "group " ,,So as ML said ~ go elsewhere ~~

She shouldn't have to screw Walmart. A pharmacy is in business to sell drugs. So, if my Walmart pharmacist doesn't believe in pain medication or ED drugs they shouldn't have to fill them? Maybe said pharmacist should find a different profession because after all her employer sells the drugs for abortion. Maybe she should tell her employer she is not cut out to be pharmacist. It has nothing to do with being politically correct.
So, ML you are in business to fix cars, do you have any clue the chemicals that have been used in the manufacturing of autos? What if one of your employees said they couldn't fix a certain car because it caused pollution by the chemicals it leaches into the enviroment and people? Would you replace that employee???

The pharmacist proved she is "cut out" for the job by obtaining her credentials which in the case of a pharmacist isn't something to wink at imo~ the standards by which she paractices are as with any occupation, based on "the universal standards of pratice, but that never means going against ones conscience or belief systems. There isn't a shortage of pharmacist willing to sell abortion drugs lol ~ find one and move on~

I don't believe anyone should be compelled to do anything.
Let's reverse the situation.
There are 4 bakeries in your town. A new one opens called the Christian Co-op Bakery. The government steps in and says you have to buy all your cakes at the new bakery (Christian Co-op) because they are just starting out and are not a chain store. You people (atheists) would be screaming bloody murder. You don't agree with being "ordered to do something yet it is fine to "order" a business to do something that goes with your "personal beliefs".
Well most of you (Ruger the exception) are nothing more than a bunch of miserable hypocrites.
You can't have it both ways.

You are a little mixed up!

no normal person would make a hate cake as described by the sick mind of mountain loser.
ruger do you get that; NO NORMAL PERSON WOULD SERVE OR CREATE A HATE CAKE AS DESCRIBED BY MOUNTAIN LOSER.
mountain loser's fantasy only applies to insane people so it is not a valid argument.
while we are on silly scenarios what if a JW firefighter decided not to go into a burning house full of evangelical xians because the fire fighter is a non-trinitarian, or if a hindu working in macdonalds refused to serve hamburgers.
conscience does not count in a work place selling legal goods and services that is why ML had to make up such extreme stupid scenarios, anything to get some attention i suppose.
