Sunsilver,
I think I made that same wrong exit! I know exactly what you mean! You finally realize you are not where you want to be, because all of a sudden everything looks abandoned, or someone just gave up and went home. And then you try to turn around and go back the way you came, but NO! You can't because the road is suddenly blocked off, or that bridge is closed in that direction! I can't tell you how many times I found that scenario!!! They still haven't fixed a darn thing.... yes, try to stay in New Jersey if at all possible! At least there we found a Cracker Barrel and I could eat a decent egg! LOL
And you probably don't know that the first Subway was begun in Bridgeport, CT. I would have been happy with one of their tuna subs on whole wheat, too.... but NO!

The real fun part though, was watching the reactions of any unsuspecting person who happened to walk too close to my Caddy with Dante in the back seat! That never gets old!
And the hotel staff, what a hoot! DenWolf terrorized the cleaning staff, made two of the women scream and leave running! LMAO And it was amazing the look of fright in their technical staff, a 6 foot plus guy, at least 225 lbs., frozen at the door! Just would not move until Dante was safely put away in the bathroom!
Just so you know, the hotels bastardize the TV's so we couldn't get a video link going, and the wi-fi was slow as syrup. BUT, I told the guy if he could help us out, I was a good tipper! Well, he came back with a brand new spanking big ol' flat screen TV! We kept it the whole time we were there... the best $20 bucks I spent on that trip!
Oh, and get this, it was $20 bucks at the gate..... prepaid tickets bought online were about $6 more..... go figure that one out?
