Something I have always found useful and non-toxic is fly tape, not that it would help agriculture but saves me from using pesticides in several ways.

Bug zappers are effective and entertaining...sit outside and watch the mosquitos fry themselves, haahaaa.

Yeah I used to get a kick outta those too, but they kill the wrong insects for the most part.
Don't have a source handy but that is true.
One of the biggest breeding grounds for mosquitoes is standing water in gutters, who ever checks their gutters..
A small amount of a light oil is all it takes to stop this.

Florida has had a huge problem with lack of bees. Many farmers have to have hives trucked in to pollinate crops, but from talking to a couple of "bee wranglers" (for lack of a better description lol, I have heard that they are getting leery of bringing their bees to Florida in the future due to the abundance of pesticides used here. Of course we have an abundance of wasps. Never fails, every year the Tru Green and other lawn companies stop by and want me to have them come and "make the lawn green, weed and pest free". I do wish I could come up with something for fire ants that works and is not a poison, have tried grubs and diatomaceous earth, no luck.
