HM, who says I never heard that saying? Just wondered, being as you live somewhere in the UK, why you would say it. It's a very old, worn out cliche ( ho hum, dull) and most Americans don't use it much, unless they don't have a more creative punchline, or they don't have anything of substance to contribute &;-) LOL.
