Ya got to have rain to fill reservoirs, so what good will dry reservoirs do? Common sense man.

70% of the rain water runs off to the ocean,
In the last 2 decades the population has doubled.
However the LIBERAL enviromentalist have blocked every attempt to build new reservoirs, desalinization plants, etc.
California has a "man made" water shortage...
It's as simple as that...

What rain?

by Mountain Lion on 09 April 2015 - 17:04
Why are they re-opening the Cheyenne Mountain Complex?.
The nuclear bomb proof complex they closed 10 years ago...

What rain?
Try snow melting run off from the mountains.

But if the current reservoirs are empty what would a few more accomplish? 0+0=0 0x10 more=0
Factor in the warmest years on record and it equals no water.
Whether you want to believe it or not, doesn't really matter but change is happening and there is tons of real evidence to back it. But because you are so locked into the split between parties you are blind. Fortunately plenty of republicans are now starting to believe.

Grasshoper,
The population has doubled in 20 years that is why there is a water shortage.
They didn't plan ahead and capture more run off water and increase the amount of reserve water supply.
They didn't build desalinization plants.
They caused their own problems.
And you just keep repeating that they are out of water, which is true. I am pointing out how they got there. How they are still not capturing 70% of what is available. If they don't increase the supply they are doomed.
It's like spending $50.00 a week on groceries for 20 yrs and the size of your family has doubled. HELO shortage. LOL
Southern CA is a desert, always has been.
It's not global warming, it's not climate change it's piss poor planinng. And they still don't have a clue...
And they still don't get it,

by GSD Admin on 09 April 2015 - 18:04
Of course you are right, there is absolutely no climate change, those pesky scientist don't have a clue but the republicans of course are always right.

Are you lonely today?
I don't think you are following the explanation of why there is a shortage.
Twice as much usage = lower reservoirs...
Does that help?
