And I agree with Joan, you do twist things around. Just like the FDA thing about the jerky treats--first you indicated that you have family in that sector and then you had to retract that and say well they were knowledgeable. And I don't think you understand that the more twisted things you say the lower your credibility goes....
Little Miss O'Hara huh? I like that because it fits. Oh I forgot you are from one of those rich states. While you're up there and want to get on an agenda what about all the dressage horses and how they train them. What about the snaffle bits that all the english riders seem to think is the end all..............
And Joan I would love to live next door to you. Goats for herding, goat's milk and yeah I saw your pups in that goat carcass--maybe mine could steal a bite or two. LOL Anything organic and natural and green IS good. Maybe you and I are just too old school and wanting to do the right thing for some. I don't care. I haven't lived this long byh being stupid.

...You want to force the direction with talk that lumps all into a BYB zoo's mentality. I am not in that conversation and your blanket statement needed to be cleared up.
...am still skeptical you see, because they, meaning "accredited zoo's" are putting valued donor dollars at stake with such a practice, and that makes no sense to me.
... Name the zoo, is all I am saying. I will look into it for myself. Thanks.
...If you all are talking about clandestine under the table operations, then any one can make any claims as they feel inclined. I am dealing with a documented entity
...If I could make the system work the way it was intended...if only! What an optimistic goal, I know!
...Well, it happens to be my life.

And the biggest most overlooked (IMO) word in the english language is acceptance. Not to get into the Serenity Prayer or anything but it is good for more things than AA. Once you learn to accept the world around you and know your limits on what you can and cannot do I promise you will be a much happier person...at the rate you're going I see strokes and high BP and maybe even ulcers.
And to repeat one more thing acredited or not they are all governed by the same body, the USDA. period.
Grandfather give me the strength to change the thingws I can, to accept those I cannot and the wisdom to know the difference. Very powerful.
