I am new to this messageboard thing so I hope this works. My husband and I bought gsd female a few months back. She is a Rikkor v Bad-Boll grandaughterr and the people we got her from have on our contract that she is V rated but it doesnt show on anything we look up. She is pink papered and SCHI and hips are stamped "A Normal". Is there any way we can verify the V rating?

Check with the SV. Ask them for the conformation rating on the dog.

The former owner should provide you with all her show cards with the ratings. The cards will be dated with the location and judges signature.

If you got the dog from one specific kennel in IL, you can bet your bottom dollar that the dog was given it's V rating by the kennel, and not any SV judge. Send an email or put a call in to the SV asking for the dog's show ratings/titles. Best of luck!
