I really enjoyed the performance of Gringo and his handler on the WUSV, double congrats to this team to beat the professional teams from leading countries, with what looks to be a very nice dogThumbs Up

Did not see any videos of Gringo's performance at the 2019 WUSV however he did score high in "C". I have seen the second placing dog and he has always impressed me with the way he takes the fight to the helper.

Duke, it would be nice to have your opinion on the value that Gringo would bring to a breeding program. if any. I did see it mentioned somewhere yesterday that Gringo is a very social dog and pleasant to be around.

koach, IMO, I would use him preferably on good females of motherline, and than especially out of mother of leon , but must fit in qualities, I like the dog as far as you can see in videos, and I think he has anoveral strong pedigree

I have no idea about that particular dog, but I would use a bit of caution on going too heavy on that mother line if you’re not familiar with it. SOME (not all) of these dogs like to play rough, including the females and they have no problems putting teeth on skin, sometimes with their handler. You can start seeing it in the females pups as early as 6-8 weeks. They’re a dream to work, just make sure you’re capable of keeping them in check if needed. If not, you can quickly get a mess on your hands and a dog who needs an experienced handler for a home. I am not bad mouthing that line. Quite opposite. That’s one of my favorite. But if you’re accustomed to a rollover, high prey type Golden Retriever with erect ears, you might be in for a rude awakening.
