Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best food to give their dog for arthritis / HD (other than raw)??

I think any kibble should do just fine as long as the dog stays as lean as reasonably possible to be easy on the joints. Food isn't going to fix arthritis (anyone who makes such a claim better bring receipts in the form of some validated and peer reviewed scientific studies).

2nd the CBD oil. Gave it to my GSD senior to help her sleep comfortably and during daytime when she seemed really stiff. She would start romping around after daytime administration so had to make sure she wouldn't hurt herself. Just put drops on a dog cookie - it takes about 60-90 min. to see the effects when ingested but the relief lasts about 6-8 hrs.

Depends on size of dog and the concentrate of CBD oil. My dog was 75-80 lbs and I gave her 5-6 drops of medical-grade CBD oil. I would follow recommendations on product label and start out with minimum doseage then increase if necessary.

IMPORTANT: CBD takes time to start working when ingested so wait at least 60-90 min. to see any effects or relief for your dog before adding more.

Edit to add: CBD oil does not 'cure' anything but it does provide pain relief and may reduce inflammation.

To add to the above, the CBD I use is organic, no fillers and has a 60 day empty bottle money back guarantee. So you can't go wrong with it. CBD Oil that contains fillers are not as effective.
It's better to use it as dietary holistic supplement than a one time fix, although again, it depends on what the issues are. Rule of thumb is 1 drop for every 10 lbs

In case, you still want input on "food" for arthritis, I supplement with bone broth twice a day and sardines (canned in water) three times a week.
