ThunderDog

This litter is cooking right now and I have first pick male coming my way.  He is going to be my next IPO dog.  I know both the sire and dam and have worked both of them in protection and really like their work.  I am very familiar with the dam's bloodlines since my current IPO3 dog is all czech and has some common ancestry with her. I have also worked a couple of her pups from her previous litter and really liked them.  I am looking for any feedback from people familiar with the sire's bloodlines especially from people familiar with progeny of Aron vom Poppitz

I personally really like the dams pedigree... I am a big fan of Cordon and also Titus.. I have a Czech/WG female... and I like my dogs a little on the civil side.

Good luck with your new pup... and post some pictures when they are born and when you get your pup.

I really like her and her pedigree, also a fan of Cordon, Tom, Grim, Dargo, and Gero.

I was lucky to get most of those in my current dog and been really happy with what we've done so far.

Here is a link to my boy Thor's pedigree.

I own Bea vom Poppitz, Aron's full sister.  She's a tough, tough old bitch.  She is very protective of me, possessive actually.  She doesn't want anybody to ever touch me, not in a hackles up kinda way, a tail up head up kinda way - she never hackles.  Bea busted through a glass house window to "save" me when I was in the house horsing around with my boyfriend, she came running into the house with glass sticking out of her paw, blood everywhere, teeth out.  I've also had her out on the IPO field and had her roughed up a bit - she's the kind of dog that gets pissed if you beat on her and she comes at you harder and will go dirty if you keep up the pressure.  Iron nerved, high pain tolerance. All that said, she's produced a few weak nerved dogs in her breeding career.  But if you take a look at Eliot v Prevent, sire of the well regarded Terror/Trojan v Staatsmacht, he is the son of Rona v Poppitz, daughter of Lizzy - mother to both my Bea and Aron.  So i think its like most breeding, make the right combination and you get a Trojan/Terror, make the wrong one and you get embarrassed.  I would trust the breeder tho..Malinda is very knowledgeable, she trains, she researches, keeps records, and titles her dogs, a rare combination. I bet she knows what shes doing.

Valerie thanks for your input.  I looked at Bea's web page and she is one good looking bitch.

Yes the puppies are here. Visited them yesterday and they look awesome, very dark sables like Iwan.
