Are you kidding me ? He votes against all spending bills. Go Google. WTF. "earmarks" represent about a whole .001 % of the budget for one thing, 2, "earmarks" are supposed to be allocated by Congress like the US Constitution dictates instead of this executive branch BS, 3, he does request earmarks like his constituents ask him to do, but he votes against the actual spending bill that contains the "earmarks".

Doing this is being transparent with the budget, he knows where the money is allocated in his district when it's passed. If he didn't allocate the moneys, the executive branch would pull a fast one and it would have zero (0) NOTTA single penny showing on the deficit and budget or even if the moneys made it to his district. This is why some "experts" are saying our n/d/b/debt etc is bookoo higher than what it is now.

You must wanna raise the debt ceiling all the time too huh ?

Whateva.

I can't get behind Ron Paul, and Backmann lost my preliminary attention when she made that stupid statement about women being subserviant to their husbands. (WRONG audience here, Barbie)
For me, at this early point in the game, its between Perry and Romney.

Don't bother to flame me too much. I only come on here about 1-2x a week, and only for a few minutes then.

let me see, ronnie knows earmark bill will pass and so he loads it up and then votes no. and this makes a hero/more like hypocrite.
voted against amber alert. wtf? http://ronpaulexposed.wordpress.com/no-to-amber-alert-parental-notification/

Missing, this is all bs.  Rep Ron Paul isn't perfect but his philosophy or politics has not changed significantly in the last 30+ years.  His platform is and always has been based on the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.  His records is spotless and reflects the beliefes of the Founding Fathers.

I suppose you will state next that you are strongly in favor of operation fast & furious, massive CIA drug dealing, homeland security set up by former stasi leader Markus Wolfe two years before he died (he was a consultant), US govt ordered torture of even children (which is still ongoing), the patriot act and the military commissions act and the COMPLETE END of habeas corpus, special rendition flights with no due process with subsequent imprison ment, torture, and murder in back off shore prisons and prison ships, TSA putyting their hands in travelors pants, TSA Vipr teams, and the way Fema handled Katrina and the current fires in Texas.  And I suppose you think nafta, cafta, gatt and wto have been great sources of American jobs and a real boos to the economy.  And last I suppose you completely approve of the two major wall street bailouts, and Qualitative Easing 1 & 2 also.
Rep. Ron Paul has gone on the record as against each and everyone of these unConstitutional abuses and is the only candidate who has.  Yep, that makes him a hero of the likes of our Founding Fathers.  And he gets my full respect and vote for that unchanging position.

the guy voted against amber alert. a real American hero. does he kidnap kids on the weekends? these are real newspaper articles and interviews. they are on the net=real.

by Preston on 12 September 2011 - 04:09

Did you ever find out why he voted against it?  He said that the US Govt is broke and he votes against most of these extra expenses especially if it had other unacceptable parts attached not related to the amber alert which is likely?  Doesn't mean he was necessarily against the amber alert.  Why don't you contact his campaign or congressional office and find out why.  When I have called his office they are always friendly and helpful with questions.

You brought it up so it is your responsibility to vet this out if you want to make a valid point.

when a child is missing no expense is to great. read the link EXPERT. tell what you just wrote above-to some mother whos child has been kidnapped-[all to save a few $$$$$$$] and this is a hero? no way. 230 amber alert saved children no thanks to ron paul

Listen here now missing, you did not answer the question.

Are you even remotely aware that the US Govt has traditionally been the biggest kidnappers of children?  Have you ever heard of the Franklin Credit Coverup and attorney John DeCamp's work defending Paul Bonacci?  Ever heard of finders, nambla or any other govt run programs?  That's right run by elements of US Intel.

I'll give you some basic references if you have the courage to do some actual research other that just talking big and appering ignorant.
