Could any of you guys please inform me when a dog gets the ungenuegend "U" mark in the BSZS? Thanks in advance

I believe that are the dogs that were at the stand judging but didn't show up for the final judging without having an excuse from the vet.

U is the abbreviation for Ungenügend, which translates into Insufficient.

OK, I know it translates to insufficient but what does it practically mean? Maybe that the dog is of poor quality? Anyway, thank you all for your posts.

I don't think so. Who in his right mind would enter a dog of poor quality in the Sieger Show? These dogs have been shown numerous times throughtout the show season. If they had disqualifying faults (over/undersize, missing teeth etc.), they would have received this evaluation before. If I am not mistaken, that would explicitly exclude the dog from participating. Insufficient can be obtained by either failing the gun test (either sufficient or insufficient) or like Cowgirl already mentioned, by withdrawing the dog from the ring without a Veterinary excuse.
