I am looking to see if the breeders of my first German Shepherd are still around. I've contacted the AKC to no avail.
We never got his papers transferred into our name because we had no intentions of breeding/etc.:

Are you trying to transfer the AKC registration into your name, or are you looking ONLY for the original breeders of the dog?

The dog has since passed away due to cancer; I am ONLY looking for the original breeders of the dog. His registration transfer was unimportant to me.
