I recently was reading about the 10 top dog foods by WDM and I have never heard of some of these food. Is there any opinions?

I have used and looked into these foods and would comfortably reccomend them Canadei, Innova(evo),wellness, california natural, timberwolf organics, solid gold..these are just a few PREMIUM foods. Keep in mind not all dogs will flourish on a certain food even though it may be a premium food. Find which works the best for your dog. Many dogs that have allergies, clear up with a premium food. As a rule of thumb, any food that can be purchased at a supermarket, pet food chain i.e...petco,petsmart etc...I avoid.(there are exceptions) good luck! Talia ps...a good website for info canineincrisis.org scroll down to diet, lots of good info.

I personally feed Canidae. I have raised two dogs from puppy to adulthood on the product without any problem. Currently I have 5 adult GSD's and one GSD puppy as well as 1 Cane COrson on the food. They are all doing well with good energy, firm stool, shiny coats and no dry skin problems. I have tried the solid gold and could not keep weight on my dogs. Some dogs just do better on some foods. LOL, you're right about even premium foods not being right for each dog...I fed Canidae for awhile, and my boy dropped weight on it, did not like eating it after a short while, coat was ok but not great. Now feed solid gold mmelenia (or however they spell it) he does great on that, he's bulking up a lil more now but what really gets me is how much he loves it and his coat has really improved. All about individuality. there are about a dozen different very high quality foods on the market in the US...recommend any of them, see what fits best for your dog, feed a mix of them, whatever it takes, I also give my boy canned food a few times a week, raw food, and chicken breast jerky as well
