Hello, I'm trying to determine the suitability of 2 dogs for mating. They are both KK1, m = Schh1, F = schh3, SV showline dogs in the database. I've done the mating check in the database and this is what I see – would someone explain what it means and if the two are suitable to mate? Linebreeding for the progency of Lars vom Lastal and Gina vom Napte-Emmer-Eck: Linebreeding - 5 generations •5 - 4..... in VA1 Kimon van Dan Alhedy's Hoeve •5 - 5,5...... in VA4 Mark vom Haus Beck •5 - 5...... in VA 1 Jeck vom Noricum •5 - 5.......in VA5 Yago vom Wildsteiger Land Thanks, -Calvin

You need to look at more than just the linebreeding in regards to suitability for breeding. What are the HDZW scores, what are the hip ratings, what are the strong points and weak points of each dog? The linebreeding on those VA dogs looks good to me, but you need to go off of more than that. If you've got any specific questions, please feel free to email me.

What are the characteristics of both dogs? Make sure that the dogs have super personalities with great drives, of course great hips and elbows.
