GSDfan

by GSDfan on 13 June 2005 - 13:06

I would like to know what everyone thinks about this pedigree. I am not familiar with Slovakian or Czech lines and would like to know more about his pedigree if anyone can give me some information. I have joined a SchH club and will be working on his titles. He is a former police dog for a department in Eastern PA. I know that his mother is a sister to Norbo Ben-ju several time competator to world championships. If anyone can find me pics of his parents I would also appreciate it. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/410114.html Thanks, Melanie Mbecker1@ptd.net

GSDfan I don't know much about the dog's dam, however, she is out the same litter as Norbo Ben Ju (N Litter). I have a bitch that dam (Nixa Ben Ju) is out this same litter. The bottom half I really like. Car Kostolianskej indeed was a producer of several top competition dogs including 6x WUSV Norbo Ben Ju, 10x World Competitor Emir Chabet, WUSV Bastien pod Tehelnou Banou and Honda Okal was also a WUSV top competitor and Barny Al-Zdor. These dogs were pretty good producers as well. Car was known for putting a lot of top competition dogs out there. I also have a grandson of Emir Chabet is showing great working potential. A little more civil in character but indeed a nice dog. Before I get too lengthy here, the cross between Titus Pohranici Straze and Car Kostolianskej has been called the "magic cross" and has produced several nice dogs. I am actually doing a tight line breeding on Car Kostolianskej and Titus this week. The dam is very nice and civil. The male is the same so I'm expecting these pups to be put in some experienced hands since they make be some pretty hard civil dogs. I like what I have seen out of both the dam and sire. Hope that little (well lot) of info helps a little

Thank you very much. Just what I was looking for. That is the one thing I was very impressed about with Andy. He is very civil but very hard. I am interested that you pointed that out. I have been a fan of showlines but Andy has really won me over. LOL
