Silbersee

Has anyone registered a dog here lately? I just tried and it still does not work. It tells me "Father unknown", it also tells me "No results" if I search for him (the father) by name. But I can easily find him under Enzo von Buchhorn Progeny (he is a son). Any advise?

Make sure you have the absolute correct spelling as well the correct "vom", "von", "von der", etc. Also it's case sensitive so you need to make sure that you type the name exactly as it appears in the database. Best is, if you find the sire's name in the database, to just copy and paste - then you can't make a mistake. I registered quite a few dogs without any problems. Good luck!

Hi Pzdc, thanks for the advice. I tried that already, also the copy and paste method. It still says the father is unknown. I think there is something wrong with the registration of the father. Please, if you have a minute, try to find him, his name is Yello vom St.-Michels-Berg, before his name, there is VA1 (DK). So, he is a Danish Sieger. The only way I can pull him up is by going to Enzo vom Buchhorn, click on progeny, and then scroll down to him. I copied and pasted, but the same results. Chris

I believe the dog you are looking for is Yello vom St.-Michaels-Berg. His pedigree can be found on www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/121607.html. Hope it helps!

Hi Pzdc, I had found Yello before, but was unable to register two of his offspring. It finally worked, when I just put the name of the dog in without his title. And it worked! The dogs I registered are not mine, but I had promised I would do that since early January. Also, it might be that my office pc has a German keyboard, and the dashes are located somewhere completely different. Oh well, thanks for your help.
