you are right about all those reasons, but I don't feel the dog should be branded because of one off day or considered a real problem or having a real problem unless it is a real problem, such as if the dog was constantly doing this or even of course more than twice then I would think there is another issue there that needed to be dealt with. also lets not forget we are dealing with animals with instincts and they will react to something that bothers them and even with a command from the owner it may not change the dogs action or natural instincts and what about not feeling well, sore, tired, female in season just little things that we don't always think of or notice these dog are not robots and do have feelings or things that bother them too. anyway what I am trying to say is if his work is consistent and he has an one off day well too bad for the handler and the dog for that day but the dog should not get branded as having a real problem . sorry this post was so late the board would not let me post it any sooner
