I stand corrected Dawnmarei, Those questions did not belong on the subject of "breeder in CT". Just came about because after reading the other posts, I found the name in the results. I also have heard lots of stories and agree that broken friendships and marriages probable cause the most "enemies". As far as the other, never met the person, did see part of a trial where he was judging. Seemed very personable. My question probable not presented well but merely asking because I had heard that since the short lived position with the 'mother' club, there was some bad feelings. Then noticed the change of officers for the new group. It just seemed strange. Kinda like the stories from Germany. One of those days when I had too much extra time. Again, sorry if I offended you. Hope the weather is great wherever you live and that you and your son get to go out and enjoy the day!

Elizabeth, I am trying to understand your intent here, so keep an open mind a minute. Although it really should not be an issue, the only reason why Bogdan isn't VP, from what i heard, is because the club got bigger and more members joined and there was no need for him to have to be VP, quite simple. Board positions should be shared, the same people shouldnt be doing it year after year.. i personally think most board positions should change yearly to give everyone a chance. There are no bad feelings with the PC and him, at least i never heard there were, anyway. If i am mistaken and its true, people clash, i would bet it had nothing to do with the mans training ability or his personality. Some people want out of big clubs because they DONT want to be a part of the politics... not saying that happened, as i really have no idea because again, i never heard one bad thing about Bogdan. Next time i see him, I will ask, and perhaps you should do the same when you see anyone from the club, its a shame to start rumors where thousands of people view this webpage, although i am sure that was not your intent, bad things can come out of a post that was meant innocently.. gotta be careful. Oh, Elizabeth, i think you know where i live, you already said you have been to my website and its on there as clear as day where I live :) I do hope my son and I get to go out, school starts...SOON i gotta go get uniforms and books and all that stuff.. ok... now everyone, no more gossip and everyone back to dog training!!! me included lol

Oh Dawnmarei, I could care less where you live. Your website is on the WDA event calander. You post the link to try to make money off photo shots you take of other people's property. Do you have their permission to use photoshots of their dogs to promote your $ gain? I would have to wonder about legal issues here. About your Mr. Sergo, let us all wait and see what is rumor and what is fact. I do not reside in CT and do not know these people. I have never met the 8 or 10 people mentioned on their web as members of this club. To say the least a very small number but perhaps they are not publicly listing membership. Again, no offense to Chuck (the VP) but how can someone become an officer of a "working" dog club without any Sch or show credentials? Maybe this is one of the major problems with the development of respectable clubs. A vast amount of information is compiled from web searches. Some gargage, some worth pursueing. Some just to tuck away for future reference who NOT to deal with. I did click on your web page and found your photography mediocue but in looking back through your posts, I find your protection phase for this club to be a 97. Although you claim not to be associated, you are definitely on the "attack" mode to anything said about them. I read the post on here about Messler, but did not feel the need to contact him. And although I think that he may be a very reputable person, I did not feel the need to defend him on this board. I read the post on here about the SV without a breed warden but did not feel the need to contact the SV. I read the post on here about Lebenshunger and did contact someone with a dog from this kennel BECAUSE I am looking to buy a puppy and did previously contact Lebenshunger on the internet. If you are within your rights to put other people's property on your web to advance your monetary gain, then good luck to you. But if you are wrongfully advertising someone else's dog for your gain, I hope that they visit your site and and file lawsuits against you. Please do not try to patronize me, more bad things come from HIDDEN facts than from the truth.

Some insight, my photos that i take are only sold to those who own the dog, i have never had anyone ask to purchase photos of someone else's dog, quite honestly. Some more insight... i dont push my photos on anyone, actually, i probably should LOL. If its my professional gig, and i am hired by the club, then they get mailed PROOFS. If I am asked to take photos on the sidelines, like I was at the E. CT show, I will also email them PROOFS. If i have no clue whose dog it is, its on my website, eventually the word will get out.. i dont hunt anyone down. I am not the GSD Paparazzo LOL I enjoy taking pictures for folks so they can see their dogs and so they have these photos down the road, GOD FORBID something happen to them. I mostly take candid shots.. the fun shots no one bothers to take. I am not able to work my full time profession until i get surgery, so i decided to start this Photo Gig, because as far back as i can remember, everyone always loved my pictures, i always just gave them away... and i still do. I wont get rich that way i know, LOL but its what i enjoy doing. There might be a law against that, I would also advise learning what you are talking about FIRST, to not embarrass yourself publicly, again refer to Berne Convention above. I do not belong to a local SchH club, I dont have the time to make the commitment, its not fair to take that time away from others who are serious in a club. I went to this clubs show, and they were very accomodating and very nice ... they were organized and efficient with paperwork. I was only technically introduced to one person ... who seemed like a lot of fun. Not a big deal. I met the folks in NC for last years WDA show.. they were AWESOME.. that little club handled all those entries.. i would defend them too, if someone said something about them.. I visited a working dog club a few yrs ago.. very kind and accomodating and helpful with my Am Bred i had that i wanted to do protection work, they were honest and didnt candy coat anything and were kewl to me and my dog.. and i barely knew them.. i would defend them as well as my association with them was positive as well. Its better to see the positive in folks. *****I read the post on here about Messler, but did not feel the need to contact him. And although I think that he may be a very reputable person, I did not feel the need to defend him on this board**** Messler as in SV Judge Mr. Peter Messler? I honestly did not know anything about this but can guarantee you that I will know much more very soon.And I will know if the property was private or not. I still personally do not find any comprehensible way that you should be able to "copyrite" someone else's property. And what about the letigation of your photos of a dog presented by you on your web page showing a lesser quality of said dog costing the owner loss of his/her possible investment? But I will wait to hear from my brother. Second, I take offense to your response about "slander" as a threat to me. I have asked his professional opinion of this. You may file any legal action that you seem applicable but keep in mind that a counter suit for wrongful process would be expected. Again, I look forward to hearing from my brother. Next subject... How do I know about Chuck? Everyone has heard about Chuck and his "service dog". I won't go further. As far as how I found out about you. If you go to the WDA webpage and then to the events calendar and then to the results of the NE Regional....on their webpage they have your link... I have the utmost respect for Messler, although I have never shown under him, but was making a point not trying to declare any personal preference, but in Germany, you use last names when you address a person. If I neglected to give his titles, it certainly was no disrepect intended. You continue to try to create some sort of defense to any comments about this club as immediatley being personal attacks. I have no personal interest in this club and feel very sorry that you are so paranoid about any comments made about them. I simply was asking questions and sharing information that I had heard. In my haste to read posts that may have something productive to offer, I almost missed this important one. Yeah right, my God, it is the Greek and Dawnmarie Show and they even know each other. That is a surprise. I am sure that your attorney is very good Dawnmarie. At least I would hope that he is. I know that you count on it, but then, you probable don't have much to loose. And as for the Greek (probable a sheep farmer) where do you draw all your fast experience from? I bet you are really an achiever in the GSD World.
