Gouda, that's where you're dead wrong, sin is not just now burning out of control, it's just that it's out of the closet now.
It used to be that incest, back alley abortions, wife beating, child molestation, child abuse, infanticide, etc., stayed in the family and were only talked about in whispers. I wanted to add homosexuality to the list, but I couldn't lump it with violence, although it was lumped in for a dose of guilt and shame with all the rest.
And guess what? Most of that was going on BECAUSE of religion. And the wars that aren't wars were started for other reasons, but it's religion that gets the people behind them. Nothing like a clash of gods to get a good battle going! But it's the atheists who are the ruination of mankind? Really?
