GSDGuy,

I couldn't tell you what will happen when I die and it's not a problem for me.

I was raised in a Christian home, my grandparents were both very involved with the church and my aunt up until a few years ago spent almost a decade in Uganda. I have no ill will towards Christian's as a whole, just the one's like Shtal who feel they need to club people over the head with their beliefs.

My family respects the fact that I choose not to believe and they have never preached to me or attempted to sway my beliefs. This is why I belittle people like Shtal.

I've said it before, if I was going to choose a religion to follow it would be Buddhism.

I am NOT damning anybody, my problem is evolution is a religion and it should not be taught in public schools, remember 50 years ago, the supreme court declared that prayer in public school was Unconstitutional, they should do exactly same thing to evolution today.

(Evolution corrupts people minds)

This is what offended me----> "NO one will reject the Christian faith based on what they have heard, been taught or believe about evolution."

You don't know what I know.
Anyway, I just don't want to discuss this matter because it strikes me deeply.

Shtal...

btw, I will answer your other question in that other thread a bit later :-)

I'd have thought by now all the naysayers here would have been struck dead by bolts of lightning.

No lightening bolts, no walking on water, just Shtal trying to fit that crown over his swollen head.

Evolution corrupts peoples minds?
No, I don't think that's what does it Shtal, I think you were messed up long before you even knew anything about it.
And it's not really corrupted, it's broken.

The one thing that makes some religions so wrong is that people feel justified killing other people over them.

I do not think that evolution is a religion..I think it is an idea to explain some of the things that people want answers for..And I will say it again, no one will reject the Christian faith based on what they have heard, been taught or believe about evolution."

The subject strikes everyone deeply, not just you,,

Deanna...:)

I should leave the GSD forum more often...all becoming very clear now.  What the HECK is goin on round here.  Your welcome for the HECK bible people.

Concious individual self awareness after death is naive arrogance based on archaic mythology.  Is it possible?  Depends how deaply you want to dive into quantum mechanics and theroetical physics pertaining to time, or the lack thereof....anywho.

Focus on being nice each other....because....its nice to be nice.

Peace be with you.

That is the funniest thing I have seen all day.  The monkey on the left is priceless.  Looks like a cheerleader in a nursing home.
