I was always standing a few feet away from my kids, and all the kids that come to our house on halloween have their parents with them.

Kim, you are good person and also letting your kids to have fun on Halloween - it seems very innocent act.
And whatever you do, in word or in act on Halloween day, without even understanding that darkside spirit is also participating on halloween with a smile.
And when eve saw that tree was good for food and it was delight to the eyes. (It would be same comparison as Halloween.)

I don't hate Halloween, but don't really get excited about it. As Christians, my husband and I let our kids dress up like we did when we were kids. However, we always took them to fall festivals at our church for candy and fun. They never dressed up as ghosts, ghouls, or witches, etc.

I rarelly watch cartoons and especially about Darkseid, but this one brought very intersting point. If you fast-forward to the end of the video clip how Superman said to all those people, now you are free, but yet those people volunteer to serve Darkseid. And Darkseid said I' am God here. This visual cartoon gives perfect example how people still yet like Halloween and sin in this world.
