Red, make sure you call the bank it was drawn on, and verify the funds are in the account, before you deposit it, again. That's your rock.

glad i read your story...i been contemplating on helping out a distant family member, my mother said to stay out of it, but i feel bad...but now seeing this, i don't want to be in the same boat...because i can't ask for $ to save my life...even if its my $...i just can't..i would live on rice and beans before i ever ask or borrow $....loan from bank one thing...$ from a person...can't do it...

@LF - You know that Barak ordered a steak (rare) while at the Four Seasons. Ace has really upped his game to keep him from moving out.
