As regarding discourage, their is one verse came to my mind regarding discourage... How Paul discourage Peter in front of all people.

Deanna, do you think Paul did the right thing to discourage Peter?

Galatians,2:14

Translation1:
But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before [them] all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?


Translation2:
But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in the presence of all, "If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how {is it that} you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?

Ive been a Christian  for nearly 40 years. I have matured in the faith Deanna,and I now fully understand what Im doing today on this board , is a drect commandment from Jesus to preach the Gospel to every  man woman .When I was an immature Christian,I did not get involved with boards like this,but through my bible knowledge and the grace of God I now have an overwhelming desire to do so.  How do you apply the truth of God on this board Deanna?  You have no problem talking about dogs on the dog  section,but on this open forum you do not seem to like talking about your Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.  Are you suggesting I have not matured in the faith.
Now Im asking you to please direct me using the word of God.  What are you teaching the others hear Deanna?   Did you know that you are well liked hear Deanna,unlike Sthal and I.  A few words from you just might lite a fire in some one hear down the road. 
Is your point of view Scriptual?  Is it really honoring God or is it giving away to the flesh?  Does it represent real sacrifice on your part that will be directed to winning lost souls to Christ.  Real Christianity demands dedication and devotion.

A person that sets pagan values above Gods truth will dispise genuine Christianity.  That why Jesus told His diciples,if the world hates you,you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
If we refuse to conform to world that demands compromise,it will turn against you.  Todays,resistance brings rejection. Tomorrow it will bring cruel and unjust punishment.
Are we willing to count the approval of God more precious than the approval of our friends.

First, just because a Christian has come to faith in Christ, that does not necessarily mean that they are mature in the Faith and in the understanding Gods Word...I do not know you well enough to know the full extent of your knowledge. The ability to quote scriptures and to remind others of what they are doing wrong is not evidence of maturity. On the contrary, the ability to allow God in His sovereign time to work in whom He chooses and in the time frame He chooses is a more direct reflection of the maturity of which I am speaking...

You asked me how I apply the word of God on this board and I will answer very simply. I do my best to keep Gods standards in the way I speak, live, and conduct by day to day life at home and on this board. I have confessed in this post that I am a Christian and in other post as well....: )
 
  I feel very confident that because of the friendships I have made here on the database should anyone become interested ( by Gods grace ) in knowing more about God, Christ, or the scriptures I feel they would be comfortable in asking me to expound on what I have already said in my posts....

 First of all I do not remind people of what they are doing wrong,I preach what the Bible says is wrong or right. The reader themselves can decide for them selves.
Here is the reason Im hear Deanna,   BUT NOW IS THE ONLY TIME YOU OWN,DECIDE NOW WHAT YOU WILL; PLACE NO FAITH IN TOMORROW FOR THE CLOCK MAY THEN BE STILL.
Try to Get your friends saved today Deanna,they could be dead tomorrow.
After they are saved,God will start working on them.

Through the new birth,the believer becomes a partaker of the devine nature and of the life of Christ Himself.
The condition of this new birth is faith in Christ crucified.
I Christ comes back tonite,all your unbelieving friends and the non believing posters hear will be damned for eternity.  I f you were shure He was coming tomorrow would you have preached the gospel of CHRIST CRUCIFIED hear on the database today?
Thats why I do it Deanna. He could come tomorrow. IiM 69 YEARS OLD AND IN POOR HEALTH,every day and every hour is Gods sovereign time.
