I took this picture in North Tyler near Lindale. IT is one of the LARGEST Trees in Texas in a Cemetery. It is a  Magnolia Tree . Next picture shows how wide across .

Good Morning YR--waving at cha--thanks for sharing your pics. Yep not much color up here either cause of the drought. But at least it has been cooler. The other morning it was 43!!!!!!!!!  This morning it's 59.
As I already said the dogs just love the cooler weather and way more wired then I have seen them since spring.
I loved that magnolia tree--wish I had it in my back yard................

I don't have a pic, however pumpkins are out... went to the store yesterday they were on sale, my guys all have horse balls but I bought them pumpkins, they LOVED them and the best part when they are done demolishing them from rolling them around they can eat them!! The dogs are in doggy heaven! You should give it a try, even the ones that don't normally want to roll things around had a balll! I think I'm going to put up soccer goals just for fun!!

Wow that sounds so cool. Yep you know what the puppers are getting this weekend..............Never thought of that idea and yes they are into rolling things and yes I know at least one that will eat on it!!!!!!! Ya never know seeds might get scattered around and I might have pumpkin plants coming up next spring.........Hopefully I can get some pics.

back to the topic of "happy fall"

yesterday, i was on my way to meet up with Taunya at the Bass Pro Shop in San Antinio, TX.; I had a Suburban full of dogs for her, to take to her ranch, and she had a preggo bitch for me to take home. At the ranch, its R and R, at my place, its whelping time. I love whelping and raising puppies.........

Any way..........I glanced at my rear view mirror it told me I was going West and that the temp was 104f.......so much for "Happy Fall"............its still too dadgum hot down here!

Yeah Kim I hear ya. Back to Happy Fall. I just got last months electric bill and then I finally broke down and turned the air back on yesterday. I went to a tribal function yesterday afternoon and every thing I did I could feel the sweat just running all over my body. Supposed to be 96 tomorrow and then back down to the 70's on Friday. Guess I better take a jacket to Topeka cause I'm sure their weather is as crazy as ours...................

Weather here in Maryland changed in one day! Had to break down and turn the heat on. Took the AC units out of the windows. Think it was 49o

Thankfully , here in TYler , it went down to 49* night before last and 55* last night but a/c is needed in daytime as it goes right back to 90* .

That is East Texas for ya...
I also noticed the leaves are not turning pretty colors here, as most of them are brown and half dead.

sad

Still praying for rain.....
