Jenni,,I was not being "all nice about them"..lol..I really think some are quite nice ...;)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments about my horses,,I love them a ton!!..I will be posting ME riding at a later date. My own thread of course..,,that should be quite entertaining..
I have been told I have a naturally nice seat ...lol...but I do lack coordination...

And for the record,,I do not think Beetree cares all that much about Jenni's personal finances or Chief,,this thread has gotten a bit out of hand..Shake and be friends huh??..

Here is my pretty mare, Rain, the year we purchased her at only 4 years old,,,She has the sweetest disposition,,Sorry Jenni for mooching in on your thread...;)

You know Deanna, that what makes your QH's so beautiful are their Arab(y) heads, don't you?   (and that they have Arabian blood in them?)

RS,,,Thanks for the compliment, but the only thing Arabian about my horses are their heads!!!...I am very bias when it comes to breeds of horses and dogs!!!..Quarter horses and German shepherds!!..Everything else second best!!..;) I do like a nice Thoroughbred too though..:)

My gelding, Black,..18 years old and still perfect!!..:)

RS,,,Show us some pics of your fancy Standard breds...:)

I'm with Deanna...
I think all horses are beautiful, but quarter horses are by far the best.

I haven't got many pictures of them.  Standardbreds are not known for their beauty, but I've seen some gorgeous ones, especially those that tend to take after their Arabian ancestors

Here is Ace, the one I own now, a gelding:

I have a picture of Odessey, another gelding, quite pretty but for some reason I can not upload him.  I'll try in a new window.

This is Big Decision, my very first Standardbred, he was a Stud, and he was Big!!

Sonia,,I love Shadow!!,,very handsome indeed!! I like the pic of him in his blanket,,you know the one!!...

RS,,Nice coat on that pony Ace..:) Big Decision  very nice name.. How many hands??!!..They aren't bad for not being Quarter Horses...lol..;)

Here is my pretty Odessey.

Deanna, Big was over 16 hands.  I'm 5'6" and could barely see over his shoulder.  I'm sorry to see how dull coated he was, that makes me sad.  That was back when I started with race horses, and I listened to the Trainer (who had been in the business for over 25 years) who didn't know anything about horses digestive systems and nutrition.  I know much more now, but learned it on my own.
