It is not simply hearing,or knowing the words of the Lord,but also OBEYING THEM.
Am I insecure,by doing what the Lord commanded me to do? { Preach the gospel to my fellow man}

Let's ignore the fact that you get your news source from CNN. You act like carnage is proof that God exists. Never mind that carnage existed since the rise of the prokaryote, but it's more proof that there's no such thing as a benevolent god. Tighten your screws.

devnull and Felloffher, do you think there's a conflict between science and religion ? Because there is no conflict for you to pit science against religion. However, you can pit people against people.
Maybe I'm not understanding your posts. Is it God you don't believe in, science. physics, theology .. what ? ? What is relevant to you that no God or Creator exists ?
I specifically took the science position on this thread to get the most interactions (pun intended) of the OP's title and first post. You shot us both down.

There's no conflict in my mind, but I can see how someone who's religious may be conflicted.
