Rev.16:9.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blashphemed the name of God,which hath power over these plagues; AND THEY REPENTED NOT TO GIVE HIM GLORY.

As in the case of Pharao, the mass of mankind in further reballion agains God chooses not to repent of their sins, but prefers rather to curse and blaspheme God EX. 9:34-35.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent;and men blashphemed God because of the plague of the hail;for the plague thereof was exceedingly great.

The wicked choose even with this to blaspheme rather than repent.

It is evident throughout Scripture, men either by faith repent and turn to Christ who has paid for our sins,or the cling to unbelief, follow Satan and perish in their iniquity. The choice is clear.

Rev.9:6.
And in those days {GREAT TRIBULATION} shall men seek death, and they shall not find it;and shall desire to die,and death shall flee from them.

The natural consequences of such torment among fallen humanity is total despair. Men should see,as did some of the Egyptians, that This is the finger of God,and they should be driven to turn to Christ.

Many people hate the truth.

Gouda,

Let's talk the truth. Without using quotes from your book or any other type of hearsay, explain how you can be 100% certain that your god exists based on fact. Man has been on earth for roughly 200,000 years, your religion has been around for 3,500 years and was invented by men that god apparently spoke to. Then they wrote everything down, proclaimed this to be the word of god and condemned all non-believers using fear. Then your book was revised 400 years later to add some new stories and a new loving direction for the religion based on the word of a man that was conceived by a virgin without sperm. And you wonder why some people might question this?

Whatever God does is just. He acts as a benefactor, whose grace is His own. None have deserved it; so that those who are saved, must thank God only; and those who perish, must blame themselves only.

God is bound no further than He has been pleased to bind Himself by His own covenant and promise, which is His revealed will. And this is, that He will receive, and not cast out, those that come to Christ; but the drawing of souls in order to that coming, is an anticipating, distinguishing favor to whom He will.

Why does He yet find fault? This is not an objection to be made by the creature against his Creator, by man against God. The truth, as it is in Jesus, abases man as nothing, as less than nothing, and advances God as Sovereign Lord of all. It becomes us to submit to Him, not to reply against Him. Would not men allow the infinite God the same sovereign right to manage the affairs of the creation, as the potter exercises in disposing of his clay, when of the same lump he makes one vessel to a more honorable, and one to a meaner use?

Sanctification is the preparation of the soul for glory. This is God's work. Sinners fit themselves for hell, but it is God who prepares saints for Heaven; and all whom God designs for Heaven hereafter, God fits for heaven now. Would we know who these vessels of mercy are? Those whom God has called; and these not of the Jews only, but of the Gentiles as well. Surely there can be no unrighteousness in any of God's divine dispensations, nor in Gods exercising long-suffering, patience, and forbearance towards sinners under increasing guilt, before He brings utter destruction upon them. The fault is in the hardened sinner himself.

As to all who love and fear God, however such truths appear beyond their reason to fathom, yet they should keep silence before Him. It is the Lord alone who made us to differ; we should adore his pardoning mercy and grace, and give diligence to make our calling and election sure....

Felloffher, do you think our universe is an isolated system or not an isolated system ? Just wondering.

Hello Felloffher.

Mark 2:7

When faith flourishes,opposition emerges.

Christ had completed His first tour of Gallilee and returned to Capernaum. He had already cast out demons MARK 1:21-28; PUT DOWN A FEVER 1:29-31; healed diseases 1:32-34; made lepers well 1:40-45.
Almost as certain as night follows day,you can be sure that when you are accomplishing victories in the Lords name,Satan will rally his forces to appose you by any devious means.  In MARK 2:1-3:6 Christ clashes 5 different times with the Pharisees who seek to undermine His ministry and deny His deity. Infact, hardly had Jesus been baptized by John the Baptist when ,in the wilderness,He was tempted by Satan. This preparation by testing is a lesson each Christian should learn.  READ 1 COR.10:13.

MICAH 5:2

Mica shifts to a time perion some 700 years in the future when Jesus Christ would be born in Bethlehem

 MICA 5:2
But thou, Bethlehem  though thow be little among the thousands of Juda, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel;whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting.

Written in 800 B.C.  ISAIAH 7:14.

Therefore the Lord himsef shall give you a sign;Behold,a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son,and shall call his Imanual .

ISAIAH 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:and the goverment shall be upon his shoulder:and his name shall be called Wonderfull, Counsellor,The mighty God,The everlasting Father,The prince of Peace.

We are Gods marvelous creation, yet for many their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have cosed;lest at anytime they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them MATT.13:15

BabyEagle,

This is one of those round and round we go type questions, no one can answer the question with any certainty.

Gouda,

Instead of hiding behind the bible, why don't you just say that you refuse to except the fact your god may not exist. Does using bible verses in every response help you reaffirm your belief when an element of doubt has entered your mind or are you arrogant enough to believe that your bible has every answer and can never be wrong? Honestly, you come across like you are unable to develop and express an opinion of your own.

Good evening Felloffher.

In 1957 my father started having trouble eating, this went on for about 2 months.
Finally the docter put him in the hospital for surgery.
The nite before the surgery my dad had a vision,or a visitation.
At about one in the morning he woke up ,and his room was lit up with extremely brite white light.
Before the bright lite he saw himself and his wife and chidren standing dressed in white robes.
Today all of his family have excepted Christ as their savior.  My Father died about four months later of esophugus cancer.  No Felloffher,my father was not on any medication that nite.  The next morning my father asked the 3 men who were in the same room if they had seen anything, they all replied that they had not,and slept all nite..
My fathers mother was a devout Christian and had prayed for my father his whole life.  Needles to  say
my  father gave his life to god  that nite he had the vision or visitation.  You know Felloffher,at the time I thought that he was grazy. But in 1973 every thing changed for me. Befor that year I was a very bad actor and a drinker and a brawler. Hung around with some very bad and rough individuals.  Well in early 1973  the Holy Spirit started working on me,started convicting me of the way I was living my life.  One nite the Sprit on me was so heavy that I began weeping uncontrolably, yes in frot of all my buddies at a local bar.
But still I fought the Lord for a few more months, didnt want to give my lifestyle up.
At a Christmas party that year put on by the company that my wife worked for,it finally happened.
I Had one beer and was about to start eating my supper, the Sirit of the Lord came over me so strong that, I started weeping again, and immediately ran out of the building and sat in me car and wept uncontrolably. Wy wife came out to see what was wrong, and I explained it to her, needles to say at the time she did not believe me.  One of the men I worked introduced me to a minister, and later I started to go to church.  Two weeks after I was saved my wife started to believe everything that had happened to me.She also excepted Christ so did my youg daughter. We were all baptized in Sept. 1974.
After the sevice all of my brothers and sisters went to my  mothers place for coffee and cake to celebrate.
That evening was a very warm evening. We were all standing around talking to each other, and I was  witnissing to my family a rushing wind came threw the room a couple of my family fell on the floor.
2 of my brother and sisters gave their life to the Lord that nite. The rest gave their life over him in the years ahead.
I know my God liveth.  Felloffher,I pray someday you will also realize this.  Dont matter what you have  done,He will welcome you with open arms. Praise His wholy name.

Gouda,

Because you've shared very personal times in your life, I will hold back my opinion. However, your reasoning has me shaking my head.
