I am hoping someone (like Black Malinois) can help me with a dog and his pedigree. I have very little information and thought it would be impossible, but with the rarity of German Shepherds in KNPV, there may be a glimmer of hope.

Here is what I know.
His first name was Roy and he was from the Netherlands. He had a scorecard from KNPV, but not sure if he ever certified. He may have been a son or grandson of Tom vant Leefdaalhof, or a son or grandson of some other Tom. I do not remember the pedigree. He would have been born around 2001 to 2003.

I realize this is not a lot of information, but figure it is worth a try.

first problem will be the name, many people change it, graucho van de duca vallei, I posted in other topic is known as dico, one of my dogs now in KNPV , pedigree name amadeus van de duca vallei, is called faust, and so on, this will not make it easyer

Duke, thanks for the information. I am almost certain on the pedigree was the name Roy. I’ll keep my fingers crossed since the breed is rare in KNPV that his name will appear somewhere in trial/event results. His scorecard, which was a half sheet of paper, may have been from 2004 or 2005.

the long, half sheet is a scoresheet from a trail , but doesnot mean he passed, can also be another title than a PH1

the last my dog did have this one KNPV dog on paternal side. quite distant but since you say GSDs in KNPV rare,
maybe search through his progeny can give some leads. at least one of them happened to be LE dog in Canada.

I located a picture of Roy before we went to work.  I also located his scoresheet.  I hope this helps.

I get error message "405 Not allowed"

Here you go https://www.houdenvanhonden.nl/generaties-gezondheid-online/hond-details/?id=0001023012372750

Ironic - I was going to suggest you contact the Heukske kennel in Holland since they do knvp w GSDs - my Remy's bitch line is from them http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=485683-remy - and lo & behold take a look at his pedigree. Lol.

http://www.germanshepherd-heukske.com/

Got here cause I knew Stam boom means pedigree & the nr indicated Nederland registration # and because of Remy I have previously researched and used the Dutch dog organization sites. If I remember correctly the Raand is like our AKC and the vdh is the Dutch version of the sv. There are also several other Dutch pedigree sites for working dogs some of wh also give the pedigrees for crosses. One in particular I liked and will try to find you the link. That and the Raand will give you info you don't find elsewhere.

Now my question for the board that always stumped me was finding/ confirming hip/elbow info for the lowland countries.

Tig, I am so grateful for your help. I will add a picture to his page and leave a comment about working with him. When we first started policing together I made contact with the owner. He emailed me back and was excited to know his dog was a working police K-9 catching criminals in the US. I will also share longer information here for those who may be interested in his story.
