What is everyone's thoughts about these two dog foods? I've read the ingredients in both and prefer Diamond. Although I see a lot of breeders like Victor as well.

Victor is a great choice. We feed Victor. Victor has NEVER had any recalls. Diamond has had way too many recalls.

Diamond makes great hog feed. But for dogs, nope. Victor, absolutely, best commercial feed I've ever used.

I did not know that about Diamond! Looks like I'm switching! Thanks for the link!

I tried a pallet of Victor and my whole kennel lost weight and coat...
I've used TOTW for many years...It is made by Diamond but it's a very good food for the price...

My dogs lost weight on TOTW...there are many many formulas of Victor, there isn't just 'Victor'.
I'm feeding Victor Nutra Pro, was feeding hi-pro for active dogs. I've already cut back on all my dogs after only a couple weeks...from 5 cups a day to 3 and 1/2 cups....putting weight on 18 month olds that run weight off, hard to keep weight on at this age, they look super.

The use of a particular Dog Food is a personal choice...Many things go into what you use and why...
If you try any new foods for your dogs I would keep them on it for awhile...At least a month or more to see how it affects them and to see how they do on it...
