i have a 8 months male who is trained to pee inside my flat balcony or street but just 2 days ago he started peeing everywhere in the house a lot , sometimes drops while he is walking and sometimes a large amount while standing ( living room , bathroom , kitchen and even bed ) he still don't lift his leg while peeing , i was a afraid he got early diabetes but we took a test and he is a lil bit low than normal but wouldn't make that problem , anyone experienced this problem ?

i have a similar dog, an 8mos Dutch Shep who does the same. He is potty trained but have accidents everytime he gets excited. My daugther jokingly shared, "its his way of saying your friends with him :)" He pees whenever he greets you, you tickle his chest, he even does it after you call him and he goes it front of you all wagging, and surprise-surprise hell pee on your shoes.

We did observed it could be inherited and a family trait; both his parents does the same thing even at 3 years of age,

but he do it while is not excited or anything ? also have you considered seeing a vet for a medical pov , and how long have you been dealing with it

He's on the young side for it, but did your vet check the pup's prostate? Inflammation of the prostate can cause urinary incontinence. If there's an unsprayed female in your general area that's in heat, it could be triggering enough of a hormonal response in him to cause some inflammation of the prostate, I suppose, but it would be unusual in an 8 month old--not impossible, though.

Likewise, a urinary tract, bladder or kidney infection can also cause this...was a urine sample checked when he was tested for diabetes?

No they took blood sample for diabetes test

Did your vet not consider possibility of bladder infection or urinary tract problem? My cat displayed symptoms of leaking urine outside the litter box and she had a bladder infection, could be what your dog has. If you're not satisfied with that vet go see someone else.

Argh.

Debieky, when you took your dog to the vet, did you bring him in and specifically ask them to test him for diabetes? If that's the case, you'll do better if you just tell the vet what symptoms your dog is showing, and let the vet run through the general protocol for making a diagnosis--if you just ask for a specific test, there are some vets who will only do the service the you requested because they figure that's all you want done.

Updated :

The vet said the dog bladder is weak as a total of general weak nervous system , so he recommended b12 shots , he said the dog right leg is shaking a lil bit "kind of cow hook" and his left ear is weak as well because of that

the meds he prescripted are

Garamycin shots

Neuroton shots

Milga tablets
