Problem with database not working - Page 1

I am trying to create a pedigree for a new dog, actually a littermate to another dog that I have already created with no problem. However with this new dog, the system is not recogning the sire and dam which is already entered into the system. Also I am not able to delete a dog that I started to create that was incorrect. Any suggestions?
