The excuse for not having enough dogs is the training and 'only' eight years or so of service...guess it's just better to have long lines, people missing planes, and planes getting blown out of the sky than to invest in more k9 s.

Yes, the dogs are finally getting recognition they deserve. I remember not too many years ago that tsa said 'sniffer machines' were better than dogs.

My son and me drove from Houston to Amarillo to Indianapolis to New York ...always in a hurry , we only had 2 weeks, but we had a great time and met a lot of old friends. I didn´t realize you are living in the New York area, otherwise we would have said "hello" for sure. So sorry!
