How many plastic shopping bags could we remove from our landfills if you had to buy them when you went grocery shopping?
Well in Italy, if you forget your cloth or fabric shopping bags you have a to buy the plastic shopping bags at .86 Euros each. Hey, why didn't we think of that?
Or how much water could we save if you had to buy it every time you ate at a restaurant?
And instead of bring you a plastic bottle of Perrier you get carbonated water (water with gas) in one of the restaurants glass bottles?
Here's a good one.....how about driving a diesel fueled car that is so quiet you don't realize it's a diesel....and....diesel fuel costs about the same as unleaded fuel. In Europe, diesel fueled vehicles are the majority not the minority.
Anyone else care to share a novel concept?
