I have a dog in mind to add to my kennel. Was curious to see the comments about this particular girl. Thanks

Well from the pic on the data base and hopefully it is the picture her topline is dipped.  Would not breed that personally.  I guess you could say it depends on what you want to accomplish in your breeding plans and future;  again personally I look for the best of the best to breed and health clearances are mandatory when breeding.  JMO   But good luck  Nan

She has a very nice pedigree,I know a lot of dogs from her pedigree, real great dogs with clear head, high drives, willingness to work. However,I would ask the seller to have her elbows x-rayed as there is a possibility of them to be dysplatic. Some of Cato´s progeny /Cato Catargo/ have bad elbows, not many but there are some. It´s his only fault, otherwise Cato is a fantastic dog and a great producer of high quality dogs.

Who says they have bad elbows? What am I missing, Nan?

Nan,I said that Cato´s progeny are known for their pronounced working abilities, good nerves, clear head and overall good health. However, some of them /not many, there are much much more those ones with correct elbows/ have bad elbows. It goes back to Cato´s grandmother Loggi Maineiche. She had correct elbows,Cato has as well but there are sometimes dogs from this line that have bad elbows. There´s no perfect line and it is difficult to get this problem out of GSDs /just like hips dysplasy/ as it is polygenic as you know.
BTW,Cato´s dam Darka Va-Pe comes from one of the best litters here in Slovakia - Darka was a perfect dog and a great producer as well just like her litter sibling Daja,Dona,Duna and Dunco Va-Pe.
I personally love the pedigree of the above mentioned female,I just recommend the potential buyer to ask for elbows x-rays.If she has correct elbows plus good nerves, clear head and good drives,I would go for her.

BTW, FCI 2013 World champion Chris spod Lazov is from this line /through his sire/ - http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=673195-chris-spod-lazov ,one of many high quality dogs from this line.

I would buy a dog from these genetics, as long as health was good, and I'm extremely picky about what I touch these days...lol.

Find me a German Shepherd that has no dog anywhere in its pedigree known for producing a problem with hips, elbows, missing teeth, missing testicles, etc.
