The Nigerian govt. had announced the removal of petroleum subsidy and labour unions, civil society groups are set to commence a nationwide protest this morning. To me, though the removal of petroleum subsidy is painful at this time, but it remains a good option, if Nigeria loves to remain as a socio-economic and political entity, avoiding the Greek expirience. It's clear that the whole noise about the "subsidy issue" is the "oil", mainly extracted from the "Niger-delta" region of the south. If the Nigerian labour unions/civil societies that are now balkanized into "pro" & "against" subsidy, and the "house of representatives" call for a motion of "fiscal federalism" as applicable to "true/principle of federalism" THEN ALL THE PROTEST & NOISE AGAINST SUBSIDY REMOVAL WILL DISAPPEAR. (quote me). Subsidy removal is a better option, but "RESOURCE CONTROL" is the best option to keep Nigeria quiet and indivisible.

If they killed 7.3 Christians per day, how many Christians would they have killed in a leap year?

Moons, did you watch the View today? They talked about idiot questions like you just wrote, done by the schools and were used on tests. The school's justification was they were combining subjects, Math with History. Can you believe it?

Yes,
thats where that came from.
No I cannot believe it, but it happened.
This is what we teach our children?
Sad, just plain sad.
