Has anyone ever had this test done? Did it tell you anything useful about your dog's gut health?

No. Such "tests" are typically scams. If you aren't sure ask your vet and tell them not to sugar coat what they think.

The AKC is offering a special price on it, only 30 dollars, so the AKC is peddling a scam..too bad.

Can't hardly blame them, people jump all over that stuff. But like I said, ask your vet.
