Mina Andrawes

by Mina Andrawes on 27 February 2017 - 03:02

Hi Everyone
please be a wear if you are dealing with a breeder in Florida and her name is lizzy Lou on Facebook and her kennel named Vom Weidenhaus German Shepherds and her real name is Elizabeth painting.
she sold me one year old female with a recessed Vulva( defect vagina) and when I received this dog she was in horrible condition and under weigh(49lb) and I have a vet record that state the dog was under weigh and she will not be suitable for breeding which is the reason that I bought the dog for.
so when I face her with what the dog has she said this not a defect and it is ok because it will fix by itself after her first heat cycle.
for my is not ok and I don't breed dogs like that because I don't want to have same problem like me and you with any one of my buyers.
and after that I got blocked from her number and she stopped responding to my calls and my messages and after I did a post on Facebook about her to warn other people she started blaming that she did not know what the dog has so she wants me to return the dog under my expenses which's $450 for shipping and replace the dog with a puppy and pay another $450 for shipping the puppy back to me which I will be pay over $1200 for just the shipping so I told her I didn't buy a puppy from you to replace the dog with a puppy so she said no money will be refunded so she need me to pay for all of this shipping and take one of her puppies because she sold me a dog with defect and pay for her mistake.
So everyone be careful if you are dealing with her because she just care about the money and doesn't care about the dog or other people is money and until now I still have the dog and caring for her dog that she didn't even care about it.
Horrible breeder.

Thank you for the warning.

Wow this a easy fix. Either The dog should be returned at breeders expense. And all monies returned including diagnostic testing and transportation costs. But this should be done only after a second opinion has been done at the Breeders cost. Or a replacement puppy of equal value provided. But both parties must agree to this if he doesn't want a replacement puppy then the most reasonable thing to do is to provide all money back. Especially since the breeder knows that this dog was intended for breeding purposes. In my mind it doesn't matter what the individual breeder would ever would not do in her breeding practices it is what the individual who purchased the dog considers a valid breeding bitch. As well as a licensed veterinarian.

How tall is this dog? (Trying to figure out how underweight she is)

Is the vet saying she won't be suitable for breeding because of weight? Or recessed vulva? It seems unfair if she truly sold you a dog unsuitable for your purposes, but typically, transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer, same as when you drive to a store to return something, the store won't give you your gas money back. Shame if you're talking airfare and someone deliberately scammed you, though (which I don't have enough info to say at this point). Has the dog had a heat cycle yet?

Just a general comment for those reading who may not be familiar but indeed, a recessed vulva most often remedies itself after the first heat cycle.

Elizabeth Painting sounds so familiar, but I cannot place why.

I didn't see anything as to how old the puppy/dog was when bought and how old it is now...
Has she already had a 1st HEAT Cycle? Did it change anything...And has she been seen by more then one Vet?

Elizabeth Painting claims that she is just a hobby breeder of West German showline German Shepherds, and Lizzy Lou would her nickname as Lizzy is short for Elizabeth. So I guess Lou would be her middle name or part of it. Here is her info for other people to know so they don't make the same mistake:

Other Webpage(s): https://www.facebook.com/WeidenhausGermanShepherds/

I'm not a fan of show bloodline dogs as they tend to be unhealthy in the first place. Too much close inbreeding, and breeding for "beauty" (Those dogs are so ugly!) and not breeding for good health, have pretty much ruined most show GSD bloodlines. And from the way her dogs stand (and I'm not just talking about how they are show stacked either), I would not be surprised if they all had hip defects as my Sam (showline x working) did and he often naturally stood like that. I had to put him to sleep from how bad his hip dysplasia had gotten a year ago. And I'm talking about that sort of slouched slump like standing, from when it hurts so bad to stand, that they want to lay down instead of stand. You can even see in their eyes that they are in pain.

In fact, after checking, one of her females Coco Di Casa Ceca, really looks like a hot mess. Mod edit to remove incorrect information, please only post facts. mrdarcy (mod) Not a good breeder for sure.

Elizabeth Painting sounds so familiar, but I cannot place why.

She used to post here under the name of Bitehard.

Some things never change. She weighed in on one of the more famous brouhaha's involving the common themes of: Too Many Dogs, Misfortunes and Greed in Breederland.

You people crack me up on this forum, that is why I stopped coming on here, but this post hit too close to home.  It is a tear jerker for those who are involved and care about those poor dogs (all of them).  I wouldn't have even commented on here if I hadn't personally seen these dogs.  I think there are too many people on here who are way to JUDGEMENTAL!  It wouldn't matter who breeds dogs it would never be good enough for some people who posted!  I'm done with the whole thing!  I am mad about this whole ordeal and I don't care what anyone else thinks!!!     We all care about the BREED, that is why we come here, to learn, get info, get intelligent opinions, oh and lets not forget to find dogs to breed to death!  Come on, why does everything on here always turn around and end up breeder bashing!!  Same ole s#!%, different day!  This was I thought to be a post on saving the BREED in question.  And helping to get these dogs out of this terrible situation!  That breeder should be the one to get an ass chewing not the ones trying to help the dogs.  But I'm sorry the breeders who vet, feed, water, house, and love their dogs are the terrible ones!  WHATEVER!

I neither know the people nor the dogs in question, but the post made by Luna Star makes no sense.
I don't know where he/she got the Informations from, but the statements made about the hip/elbow ratings of "Coco's" parents are wrong.
Everything else about "showlines" - no comment.
Thruth should stay truth, no matter if you like showlines or not...

No, Bee, it sounds familiar from before that...I wonder if she was on Leerburg, maybe, years ago. Anyway, interesting tidbit.

Agree with Susie regarding Lunastar's post. :/
