I just got the dressing mixed and it's ready to go into the bird, pies are baked, side dishes lined up, family arriving in a few hours. Wishing the love of family to one and all. And keep in mind, friends are chosen family. Have a happy day!

After the second Thanksgiving meal at my daughter's, I'm home snug and warm, petting my dog, watching the fish swim and eating a piece of pumpkin pie. Two days in a row with my grandchildren, it was a great holiday. And now I still get to look forward to the weekend and they'll be back here for leftovers on Sunday. Yes, I'm thankful.
