Pistorius, 27, admits firing the shots that killed his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in the early hours of Valentine's Day last year but has pleaded not guilty to murder, saying he thought she was a burglar and he believed he was acting in self-defense.
He fired four shots through the door to the toilet room in his house in the middle of the night, probably killing Steenkmap almost instantly with the shot to the head, according to the autopsy.
The trial began on March 3. After 13 days of hearings, the court has heard only 18 witnesses out of a potential 107.

than about half an hour ) ? Dunno. What I did find interesting was the
report a couple of days ago that the bullets he used were a special order;
they do a LOT of damage, he had to go out of his way to select those for
that gun - so he was probably 'planning' that someone should die.
And then he reaches for his sick bucket when the state his girlfriend's body
was in once she had been shot was described in court. IMHO: Sick. In the
old-fashioned sense of that word.

I really never knew that there were no juries to decide court cases in South Africa before this. The puking dramatics, well, I don't think that will fool the judge, either.

Any one else still following this trial? Did you watch any of the cross examination? Talk about egocentricity!

How pathetic! All this blubbering. Reminds me how all the punks who think they are such tough guys. Up until the time they get caught and find themselves wearing an orange jumpsuit while making that pleading phone call to bail their asses out of jail.
