Wow, what an amazing young man. Seems this particular Christian (yes, it's his name too) knows that it's better to spread goodwill and love, not intolerance and hatred.

Thank you for sharing this story, Travels. My nephew's in Afghanistan right now [again], and this year will be his daughter's very first Christmas. I wish there didn't need to be any more kids in need of adoption by Christian and A Soldier's Child...
I love the ornament, too. I need to get one to hang year 'round, not just in the winter.

What about all the other children, victims of war, who have lost so much more ?
