Another religious post.. - Page 1

Why is it that when any other religion, or lack of religion, group tries to do anything, people who claim to identify with being Christian throw a fit?  I just read a few posts on FB about a dang stamp commemorating some Muslim holiday season, and all these people are throwing a fit, saying they will refuse to buy it.. I am getting a laugh from it because most of the posts are pretty illiterate and make no sense.. The jest I am getting is hate, hate, ignorance, 'Murica, Baby Jesus,  some more hate and ignorance..These people commenting have no real knowledge of any of the Muslim religions, yet are judging all Muslims on the actions of a few.. (Hmm.. Thought only Jesus was to cast judgment..?)  But what I find funny is, when do you see Atheists, or Agnostics spreading posts about boycotting things such as Christmas stamps or Easter candy??
Just aggravates me..

I am not debating IF there is a GOD or NOT.. I am simply asking WHY do people feel the need to harass other folks? Shit, I don't know if there is a god or not.. I can't say with 100% absolute certainty there is NO god, nor can I say there IS one.. I just choose not to belittle others and tell them their beliefs are wrong.. It's a damn stamp, can't the folks have a stamp, without people being hateful?

DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN ,OR MUSLIM FAITH,  IF NOT WHY WOULD YOU
EVEN BRING UP THE SUBJECT.  Have you ever heard of a true believer in Christ behead a Koran believer.
What does their book the Quran say about what to with a Christian,if they will not convert to their belief.
Why not read the Quran,and the Bible. THE MUSLIMS WANT THEIR STAMP,BUT WA NT ALL THE CRUCIFIXES REMOVED.

  Why not look into the subject before you post on it.

I take great offense at your post as I have an Aunt and cousins who are practicing Muslims.. Do not believe they have ever cut anyone's head off.. Hmm, in fact my younger cousin just graduated medical school and my older on is an officer in the US Army.. Yes, so UNLIKE you, I REFUSE to judge the actions of men hundreds of years ago, or anytime, on another man, regardless if they share the same religion.. And I will be damned if you are preaching to me about violence caused in the name of religion?????
 I do not need to read a damn book to form an opinion on a person.. I decide whether I are for said person based on THAT INDIVIDUALS ACTS...

These stamps came out in 2001, long before Obama was President. They are speciality stamps, and have to be asked for. Proceeds go to the USPS
