OK a brand new thread with brand new recipes. I am going to post the first one--and I will make it better than talking....LOL.............
Tornado Dogs
Fry Bread:
for about 5 nice sized breads------:
2 c. bisquick mix
1 tb sugar
3 tb baking powder--yes I know but it's necessary
Mix all that up good making sure the lumps are mashed out of the mix, make a well, do the add milk like you do biscuits a little at a time. I knead it a little on a floured board until it is smooth--put it back in the bowl and I like to let mine sit--it rises better--after all that--kind of pat a big sized piece out--not quite a whole handful---start working it sort of like a tortilla and then you can put it on your board and I use the heels of my hands to work it and stretch it--where the extra baking powder comes in...............OK about to 1/4 inch or so and then just put your hot dog in there and whatever else you want.....I'd advise only fairly dry things.............anyway sort of fold it up and seal them good. Cook in (crisco_) oil about a medium cast iron skillet, must be preheated--about 350----cook for about--they start floating and you will see them turning brown , flip them over cook a few minutes--you'll be able to tell--make sure you get the dough thin but not too thin so it will cook all the way through......................enjoy the heck out of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hot Dogs Cheese Onions Peppers Let your stomach be your guide. LOL
My bread.........one in the back was a little dark--grease got too hot--still good LOL..........

Thank you Vonissk, a Native American friend of mine used to make it all the time and I loved it. Don't want to think of the calories or fat, but dang it was good.
Caper Chicken (or as a FF partner used to call them, Rabbit Turd Chicken)- Chicken breasts (I use organic), slice in half lengthwise if necessary (want thinner pieces) then pound flatter.
Dredge in flour, then egg, then panko bread flakes
Fry over medium heat in olive oil (can use butter)
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder (or whatever else you like but not a lot of salt since the capers are salty tasting)
Flip when browned then season other side if you want, and add 1/2 bottle of capers (not in vinegar unless you like the bite) let capers brown
When other side is browned, place on paper towel to soak up oil
It's very quick and easy

Okay! Here's the appetizer for starters....I cut up the not so pretty tomatoes, happened to have a container of already seasoned mozzarella balls, drizzled them all with extra fine olive oil, and tore up some basil leaves to sprinkle on top. Oh, yeah, some fancy salt and pepper is a must, too. This is one of my favorite ways to eat the garden tomatoes.

Next, I am getting ready for the stuffed tomato's.... stay tuned, I think you will love them. I am going to grill some rib eye steaks, and wrap potatoes in tin foil to bake on the grill. Maybe pick some corn and boil it, too. But tonight, the stuffed tomatoes will be the star!

Beetree, May RONNIE and I come over for dinner? RONNIE say's he can build up an appetite, by placing your husband in a Peruvian Necktie!

Boy do I miss Ronnie sometimes. No one can eat like him. The rest.... My eyes welled up, thinking of the justice.
Abhay, I am giving you the first taste.

A Very Different Recipe for Cole Slaw
Take 1 pack (block size) of frozen small green peas, uncooked, place in the bottom of a large deep bowl
Add 1 head of green cabbage, shredded
Add 1 cup each of raisins and salted p-nuts
Add your favorite slaw dressing (I use Marzetti's) to desired consistency
Add curry powder to taste
Chill for a couple of hours, toss and adjust seasoning before serving.

That fry breed sounds good. I would sprinkle white sugar on them, while they are hot.
